Brain Tumor Center

As the home of Southern Arizona’s only neuro-oncologist and only multidisciplinary brain tumor center, we are committed to providing cutting edge cancer care. Our neuro-oncologist has access to a full range of trained subspecialists, including: neurosurgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, neuropathologists, and neuroradiologists.

Clinical Program

Our focus is on the individualized treatment of brain tumors. Our use of medical therapy, in conjunction with advanced surgical and radiation techniques, has positioned our Brain Tumor Center as a regional center of excellence. Additionally, our practitioners co-direct and attend a weekly conference dedicated to the management of patients with brain tumors. This interdisciplinary approach gives each patient optimal access to innovative treatment plans, and ensures the best chance for a response and possible cure.

Radiation Services

In collaboration with University Medical Center, we offer sophisticated and revolutionary technology for the radiation treatment of brain tumors. The Novalis Shaped-Beam Unit is the only dedicated radiosurgical device in Southern Arizona, and allows pinpoint delivery of radiation to the tumor.

Clinical Research

We have several ongoing clinical trials that will help to bring new therapies to patients with tumors requiring non-traditional treatment plans. Our practitioners are also involved in several collaborative research trials with the University of Arizona and other local hospitals.
