Parkinson’s Disease Clinical Trial – Now Enrolling
The Center for Neurosciences is currently conducting a research study of an investigational medication to treat patients with Parkinson’s disease and low blood pressure upon standing or after standing also know as Orthostatic Hypotension. Symptoms may include DIZZINESS, LIGHT HEADEDNESS, FEELING FAINT or FAINTING upon standing or after standing.
Participants should be 18 years or older, diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease and suffer from symptoms resulting from low blood pressure upon standing or after standing. Do these symptoms severely limit you or a loved-one’s daily activities? Be a part of our efforts to investigate a medication that may help people with Orthostatic Hypotension get back on their feet.
Those who qualify for this clinical research study may receive: Study-related materials and procedures at no cost; Compensation for participation and travel.
Advanced Parkinson’s Disease Study

- Have been taking levodopa (L-dopa) medication for Parkinson’s Disease for 1 year or longer
- Have been experiencing motor fluctuations (medication “o” time) for at least the last month with or without jerky, dance-like movements of the arms and/or head (dyskinesia)
Other criteria will be reviewed at the first clinical visit. Participants will need to make about 9 visits to the study clinic over approximately 4 months. All study-related office visits, medical examinations and study medications will be provided to qualified participants at no cost.
