Kurt A. Schroeder, MD
Dr. Schroeder earned his medical degree from the University of Colorado and completed his internship in general surgery at the University of Michigan, where he also completed his residency in neurological surgery. Dr. Schroeder was a clinical fellow in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery at the University of California, San Francisco.
Dr. Schroeder is board certified by the American Board of Neurosurgery. He held the position of Chief of Neurosurgery (1989-1991) and Chief of Surgery (1992-1994) at Tucson Medical Center and has been Chief of Neurosurgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital for fifteen years. He has been with the Center for Neurosciences since 1993.
