Lisa J. Hazard, MD

Dr. Hazard earned her medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She completed her internship at the University of Utah Medical Center where she also completed her residency in Radiation Oncology and served as chief resident. Dr Hazard was an assistant professor at the University of Utah Medical Center for five years. Prior to joining the Center for Neurosciences, Dr. Hazard was an associate professor at the University of Arizona for two years specializing in radiation therapy for central nervous system tumors.

Dr. Hazard is certified by the American Board of Radiology. She has published research articles and book chapters regarding radiation therapy and stereotactic radiosurgery for treatment of brain tumors. Dr. Hazard joined the Center for Neurosciences in 2012.
